I provide in-person services a few days of the week in my office in Fremont (Seattle, WA). I also provide virtual (telehealth) services to clients who are located in Washington State.
My typical working hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, subject to availability.
I am not paneled with insurance companies and am considered an out-of-network provider. I am able to provide you a superbill that you can submit to your insurance policy for out-of-network reimbursements. Out-of-network coverage varies depending on your insurance policy, so please contact your insurance company directly to check your benefits and coverage.
I have a 24-hour cancellation policy for all scheduled appointments, and appointments scheduled on Mondays must be cancelled prior to the appointment time on the previous Friday. Every client receives a 1-time "pass" for a late Cancellation or No Show. Please note that you will be responsible for the full appointment fee if you miss an appointment (No Show) or cancel the appointment without 24 hours notice.
You are able to change an in-person session to telehealth at any point before our scheduled appointment time and up to 5 minutes after our scheduled appointment time with no fee.
Please see the "Practice Policies" page for more details.
No, I am unable to provide an assessment for autism. However, I value and support the validity of self-identification and will incorporate that into our work together.
I am unable to prescribe or monitor medications. However, I recognize the importance of incorporating medications into your treatment, and am happy to connect with your existing medication provider to establish continuity of care if you wish.
If you are interested in getting therapy services with me, you can start by reaching out to set up a free 15 minute phone consultation to see if we will be a good fit. You can reach out to me by directly emailing me at adora@springdaytherapy.com. I am also listed on several therapist directories (i.e. PsychologyToday), so if you contacted me through a submission form on another platform, rest assured those will be routed to be and I will reach out within 1-3 business days!
If we both feel like it is a good fit during the 15 minute phone consultation, our next step will be to set up an Intake Assessment. During the intake I will get a detailed history about your mental health symptoms, what you are looking to get out of treatment, and provide treatment recommendations, whether that is with me or with another provider. I will also provide more details about the treatments I offer, as well as answer any questions you may have, during that time. If it does not feel like a good fit, I will provide you referrals for other providers as a resource.
Once we have completed the Intake Assessment, if we still both feel like it would be a good fit to work together, we will set up a time for our first (or for recurring) Individual Therapy Session.
For a breakdown of the costs of my services, please visit the "Services & Fees" tab of this website. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me throughout this process if you have any questions or concerns!
