The Intake Assessment is the initial session where I will get a detailed history of your mental health symptoms, previous treatment(s), areas of concern, and goals for treatment. After the Intake Assessment is completed, I will provide treatment recommendations, referrals (if needed), and schedule regular Individual Therapy Sessions (if desired).
All clients, including those interested in Comprehensive DBT services, need to complete an Intake Assessment prior to receiving therapy services.

Standard Individual Therapy is a collaborative, supportive space for us to work together towards your goals and building the life you want to live. Each session involves a combination of psychoeducation, validation, processing, learning coping strategies, problem solving, and practicing new skills. Depending on your treatment goals, needs, and preferences, I may pull in more directive approaches including behavioral activation, exposure therapy, and/or between-session practice.

Family, Couple, or Conjoint Sessions typically happen outside the regularly scheduled Individual Therapy session and are billed separately.
